The avocado and banana give it a deeply rich and creamy flavour. Although almond milk is the ingredient in this recipe, feel free to replace with any other nut milk, or even coconut milk to give a truly tropical flavour. You only need a small amount of almond butter for a magnificent flavour that will leave you yearning for more! Careful…….you may get addicted!
Ingredients
- Serves 2
- 1/2 an avocado
- 2 frozen bananas peeled (don't worry if they are out of the fruit bowl)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/4 cup of greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for vegan)
- Tsp of maple syrup (or to required taste)
Method
- Throw it all in a blender and whizz it up!
- If the consistency is a little thick then add a little more almond milk or water to desired thickness.
